Shank Wood Log Cabin is situated amongst 140 acres of picturesque privately owned ancient woodland sited in the middle of a 2 mile beat of the River Lyne, close to the Lake District. We offer the perfect log cabin holidays for either romantic getaways, family adventures or short breaks away with friends.

The log cabin itself sleeps up to 4 people with split-level, open accommodation, from £110 - £140 per night for up to 4 people and we offer romantic breaks at only 2 nights minimum stay. Located north of Carlisle, we offer unique Lake District holidays with a difference. The logs used to build the log cabin are hand scribed and are all sourced from local timber and we try to make your cabin holidays as eco-friendly as possible.

Fishing is included on the River Lyne which is situated on the doorstep of the cabin, and why not try your hand at catching a fish for your supper.
