The aim was to provide a log cabin paradise in the secluded ancient woodlands of Shank Wood. This bespoke log cabin is built in a Canadian round log design, using local timber. Shank Wood log cabin is the only cabin in the wood far away from the rush of life. The lack of mobile phone signal and television allows you to get back to nature and be submerged in the woodland. (A digital detox!)

There are many things to do in the area. With 140 acres of aincient woodland to explore, relax on the riverbank, or soak in the hot tub.
Additionally, the bathroom is located behind the cabin providing you with a hot shower, sink and a flushing toilet.
Roe deer, otter and kingfisher are frequently seen in the woods near your cabin and our hot tub holidays offer beautiful riverside walks. After a day out you can head back to your cabin and keep warm by the wood burner. You can even enjoy bathing in the wood fired hot tub whilst watching the river flowing in front of you.
