There is a BBQ on the decking of the cabin under a veranda on which you can cook your catch of the day fresh from the river on your log cabin breaks. If you are unable to catch anything for your evening meal there is the local town of Longtown only a 10 minute drive away and there is an array of shops and food establishments including an excellent fish and chip shop called the Border Cod.

Log cabin breaks in the north of Cumbria can be a joy anytime of the year as the cosy wood burner will keep you warm all year round. There are noted fishing seasons so please do take note of these before booking if you would like to fish for specific catches. We can rent rods out for your self catering accommodation Lake District at £20 per rod and the rod will come with line, a reel and a spinner, extra spinners can be ordered from our reception building.

If you would like to surprise a loved one we do do gift vouchers at a minimum of £25 towards their stay so please do get in touch if you would like to do this, it can make a perfect Christmas or Birthday present. We do take a £100 damages deposit for stays but this can be refunded to your card after your stay.
