At Shank Wood Log Cabin Carlisle restaurants are in reach to discover. We are constantly trying to find ways to improve your stay whilst maintaining our main Ethos of providing secluded, real log cabin holidays in our breathtaking corner of the world.
The log cabin is unable to get mobile phone coverage or wifi due to its secluded river bank location and is ‘off the grid’ allowing you to properly escape from reality.
For check in we will meet you at the reception before we show you down to your cabin. Or why not have a spot of lunch whilst you wait for your cabin, you can book your table here. There is a lovely walk along the river just by the restaurant to enjoy if you need a stroll after your journey.
